Yogyakarta (Jogja) is close to Borobodur and Prambanan temples which attract so many tourists, yet there is more to Jogja than that. It is the epicenter of Javanese culture and the area offers many breathtaking landscapes, such as this - Ancient Volcano Nglanggeran.
We were in Indonesia for almost 7 weeks, that’s what we called a “super slow travel”. 😆Yet, every day we discover so many new beautiful places and we haven’t even visited half of Indonesia. 🙈
Most people hang around Bali, Lombok and Gili islands but we decided to make our way overland across Java to experience less touristy island’s beauty.🛤
