Amazing Aerial Pictures Of East Timor’s Deserted Island
At the far Eastern end of East Timor is the deserted island of Jaco.
This small island is literally a deserted paradise.
White sand beaches are fringed with lush green trees and surrounded by stunning coral reefs.
The island is sacred to the local Timorese people, and no one lives or even stays overnight on Jaco.
It’s a tropical, deserted paradise, with crystal clear water and turquoise ocean.
The island is not easy to travel to. But that just means you will have the whole place to yourself.
I travelled for two days from the capital of East Timor over rough roads to reach the Eastern end of the island.
From here, local fishermen ferried across to the beach across the strait, where I basked in the sun and swam in the ocean!
Wow, that's very beautiful. absolutely amazing. from seeing already can imagine how happy there.
