A small island off of Venice, filled with color and life. You have to take a boat to get here from Venice, about 40 min on the local public boats. (The private boat are way too $$). This was taken as I was just wandering the island. You can walk the whole island in about 1-2 hours. All of the homes are painted different colors, this was for the fishermen to find there home in the fog. This fisherman town is know for their exquisite production of lace and of course, the seafood. Peep the local in the center right if picture. Definitely would go back, like tomorrow, if I could.

Love this place. Highlight of my Venice trip. The main island felt too touristy... at least here were real locals.
