Sundial Bridge at Turtle Bay, Redding, California

The Sundial Bridge was completed in 2004 and was designed by famous architect Santiago Calatrava. The most striking feature is the single support tower that also functions as sundial. The deck of the bridge is an semi-opaque structural glass. Please, be aware the glass can become extremely hot; pets and barefoot walkers have burnt their feet. ![DSC02736.jpg])DSC02691.jpg
