Cycling 350km In One Day | How I Did It ?

350km with my bicycle, I can't believe it.
When i started cycling almost 2 years ago i could barely ride 10km.
Here is some photos from the ride.

Adventure

The main reason why i do this crazy rides sometimes, It's because they really take me out of my comfort zone.
I feel so free when i'm just riding my bike, I don't feel the same thing when i'm with a car or motorbike.
With a bicycle you just need to eat enough and be fit.
With bicycle you also go slower so you get to see all the beautiful places.
I almost remember all the crazy adventures iv'e done with my bike.
Seriously nothing gives me this awesome freedom feeling rather than a bike.
The bicycle is my life.

How To Ride So Much

I know i said it a couple of times, But some people don't understand.
You have to eat maybe 3 times more than you usually it while doing this crazy rides.
Especially carbohydrates, Nothing else gives you the glycogen that you need.
Trust me i did so many rides, I know how it feels when you're "Undercarbed".
Drink enough water, You have to drink like 5 times more than you usually drink.
Drink water, Not sodas, water.
A good indication of hydration is if you are peeing clear on a ride.
Yesterday i drank maybe 12 liters of water.
I personally drink sugar water rather than all the sports drinks. It's just more healthy in my opinion.
I mix sugar with water, Himalayan salt and lemon.

Here is some facts about how many carbs you need on a big ride :
" So what’s the ideal amount of sugar water you should be consuming when exercising? According to the findings, which are published in the American Journal of Physiology – Endocrinology & Metabolism, for optimal performance in sports like long-distance cycling – where exercise may last for over 2.5 hours – consuming up to 90 grams of sugar per hour, diluted to 8 grams of sugar per 100 ml, is the recommended amount. "

Motivation

You have to keep yourself motivated through the ride, Split it to segments.
I was stopping every 50km, Just dreaming my next stop.
One of the most important things is to enjoy it, You'll suffer and you'll have to smile through all the pain that your body will experience.
Start gradually and eventually you'll ride your dream distance ride.
My dream right now is 500km under 24.
