'A Weird Solution'

crta.png

This house was a ruin already back in socialist times. It was returned to the heirs of the pre-socialist time owners some twenty years ago. It wouldn't be a big thing if it wasn't standing right in the middle of the city, between the main square and the cathedral. With passing years it became a real testimony to the human carelessness.

Instead of fixing it, the owners made a new paper facade to avoid the tourist's from wondering why is an old building left to rot for no apparent reason. Maybe it wasn't the owners. Could be the city council that decided to cover the shame.

To me, the paper facade looks weird indeed. Look, even the lamp is painted.

A coffee shop terrace is right next to it. And a cosy one, too. It is a slow sunny day and people came out to enjoy themselves. Another way to cherish the arrival of the spring is sitting outside with a warm beverage of choice.

There should be a law and serious fine for not caring for property in the historical core of the city. We have so many useless laws but obviously, miss a few important ones. It is a mystery anyway.

I am not saying it's not a temporary solution but having experience of how things run here, this might very well be the only solution that will ever happen with this property worth the serious money because of its location.

Enjoy your day! :-)

Beautiful .. wonderful place, good for you
Great work from you, well done photos
Thanks for sharing this with us

It's a sad picture to see such a building in such a beautiful place. That is, this building should not look like this. The paper facade is not the best option, but apparently it is the only way to hide the collapsing building. We have many such buildings and they are dressed on the facade before the arrival of the president and the media.

I am sure that with the right approach - from this building one could make a very beautiful place. That is, smart owners did not let this pre-basket place disappear. There are a lot of options for using this building. The most important advantage here is the location. City center - which means there are a lot of people (local and tourists).

I like the original ornament (which can be seen from the patterns on the "false" facade.). This building should be the decoration of this place. It feels the spirit of the past. The design is represented by various ornaments and other ornaments. All this could have a different form if the owner was an overseer.

Have a nice day

The value of beauty actually does not have a certain size and is free of all formulas. But in a Building will be displayed on the honor which is applied in various designs and styles.

The existence of several aspects such as the visual in framing harmony and proportion, is favorable to the positive about the meaning of efficiency and comfort, joy or pleasure on the different aspects of taste.

Art and aesthetic elements in a building will not only be seen in the ornament and the variety that is installed but also in the existing building. Aesthetics will grow and evolve in accordance with the demands and trends that exist in society. This is what makes a lot of architectural design develop and process according to the era. Often a design house will be popular in the past but in the process of composition will be abandoned.

Value Philosophy A home is an application of the elements of a philosophy embraced by a person and applied in an ornament, decoration, or design. Traditional houses are usually thick by no philosophy. Traditional houses are rich in ornaments and decorations and designs that have certain symbols. A variety of ornamental ornaments will reproduce certain philosophical elements from various societies.

Such carvings are carved on the walls, and ornaments are emblazoned on the design of the house. Various ornament is a story, story, and many things that contain other philosophical meanings. Such are the things that are not found in a house and building. You will find that a beautiful home is a house rich in philosophy, aesthetics, and moral values.

really very good travelling place dear.because,,your all selecting post of travelling and art to see very attracctive and pretty.your thought skills quality always super and i appreciate your post and good thought... That is, this building should not look like this. The paper facade is not the best option, but apparently it is the only way to hide the collapsing building. We have many such buildings and they are dressed on the facade before the arrival of the president and the media. in this photo some peoples are walking on the walkway, and you are focus on it and take a good shot for great graphics... thanks to sharing for your good travelling post and excellent shots photography... very well done sir. @velimir

The house is really an amazing one to behold...a fortune you wont want to keep your eyes away from. Its really funny though how the government tend to abandon things left in their care especially valuable and priceless things like this, they go about only for their own selfish interest. May God help our government...I think its just a general thing. Have a lovely day @velimir, don't stop being amazing

Hola @velimir
Saludos y Gracias

I agree that it is so important for historical properties to be maintained and kept in good condition. There are places around here that have been designated as historical sites, even if owned privately. The owners are not able to change or deface anything on the property at all. IN Halifax, we have a whole section of the downtown core, by the harbour, that has been named Historic Properties. It still looks like it did when the buildings were first built. The store owners and shops change inside but the exterior of the buildings must remain the same. It is beautiful to see.

beautiful

Thank You! ⚜

That paper shit is pretty corny :/ and I agree with you. I'm not one for law enforcement but if it has to exist, shouldn't it focus on things such as historical preservation more? My mother was a huge advocate for historical preservation here, so I have some strong opinions on the matter. Anyways, a great photos!

oh realy its nice photography

wonderful photography i like this your travel thanks for sharing best of luck..

All your post are worth reading. Great post every time.

Sometimes even a friendly smile can save a life. People often forget others and become very engrossed in their own problems. This leads to a negative downward spiral and a chain reaction of selfishness. A generation of selfish people is the last thing we need today. Imagine if everybody was willing to be kind and compassionate to each other. If it was not forced, but a habit. This would change the world.

nice pointing outs. the lamp photo was very funny....lol. May be they want to keep the actual historical look. but yes, whatever is the reason, they should proper care of such historical structures. good photography and nice share as always. cheers:-)
