'Encampments'

crta.png

This is the closest replica of the old encampments where hosts would prepare for steel and rage bloodbaths on open slaughter fields. No sure we are much smarter today. Why everything looks so clean, slick, honorable and completely removed from reality in those king and knight movies? :D

Enjoy! :D

It is almost certain that the historic camps have been like this, more real, of course. In the cinema -fiction, finally- that reality has been retouched and sweetened, perhaps.

Sometimes I wonder how decisive cinema has been for the construction of our reality, the reconstruction of history? With this image I imagine the maps, the tools of war, the bonfire, the horses outside and the knights ready to go out and kill the enemy. Perhaps the campaigns were not white cloth, because to draw blood and mud sure was another war.) Beautiful Day
