'Trout and a Coffee'

crta.png

I ride up the hill to the restaurant that the guy with the dogs told me about. It is completely empty, besides the cook and bartender who is also a waiter. I take my place and order. The restaurant is cosy but very silent. It's miracle that they keep it open for business this time of year. The radio starts to play.

It has been a cold day and this came as a really good surprise. I take off all my gear and have a coffee. The heat coming from an old wood stove warms me up, almost dozing me to sleep. Feels really good in here.

The waiter starts a chat. His name is Zoran and he comes from Sarajevo. He loves to discuss politics but that's not my cup of tea. I don't want to offend the guy but I'm the last person caring for all that pretentious nonsense played out by a bunch of overpaid actors.

I inquire as to what else is interesting about the property. He tells me that there is a big frozen mill wheel that I must have missed. 'It looks great in winter,' he tells me. I'll check it out later on for sure. He explains that it is located aside the small soccer field and then wants to know more about the bike and my travels. Hehe... Funny decorations fit the winter time.

The trout arrives. It's so delicious and I so hungry. Just after I finish the food, I realize that I've forgotten to take a picture of the trout. Well, I'm not a food blogger, anyway. I walk up to the kitchen and tell the lady that trout was delicious. She sincerely loves hearing that.

Enjoy your day! :-)

Literally loved it. Following you since i joined steemit.Nicely described with awesome photos

thank you very much for being here :)

You r welcome

The restaurant operators must be business conscious to run the business during that cold period of the year making it an ideal place for one to relax and enjoy. I commend you on your tactfulness in dealing with the guy who discusses politics which was of little or no interest to you.

Silent place photography and fascinating writing really impressed me. I always enjoy your motor cycle series photography. Thank you for sharing your special moment with us.

amazing travel The climate at this place is extremely cool and decent. Such a calm quiet place is extremely extraordinary fun

The way you describe this place looks like it was a very calm and peaceful place,
Places like these are rarely found, but when they found they give us comfort and rememberable memories of our whole life :)

#Really interesting post

The atmosphere at this place is very cool
Silent place photography

Good Post!

FANTASTIC @velimir!!!! How do you get your pics so dope? The effect you have here is constant and outstanding..

For these people, their restaurant is more than just business. Just like for you riding a motorcycle. A person who genuinely loves his work - will deal with it at any time. You were a special guest this morning.
It's really amazing that they work even when the attendance of their restaurant is very small.
I have a dream to drive the whole country on a motorcycle. Visit different beautiful places. Feel the atmosphere of freedom. No other mode of transport will give you this feeling. Get on the Ducati XDiavel (just a chic motorcycle in my opinion) and leave. Eh dreams dreams :)
That's why I like your blog and I'm constantly watching what you're doing :)
Thank you
Good day

cool photography man... it's really amazing...👍

Man, I do it every time. About the time my plate looks like a bomb exploded I think "I wish I'd taken a picture".
What is even better is the unexpectedness of your meal and the interaction with the people.

Thanks for a wonderful visit in a wonderful place.

I have found that motorcycle ridding is one of the most relaxing things for me to do . Some people relieve stress in different ways but this is a good way to relax and just ride see all of the scenery and find some back roads with a few twisties.
On the cold weather ridding . I invested in some Gerbing heated gear . Was my best investment i have ever made for the bike.

Just like you, politics is not my cup of tea.

ashtrays, was held in accordance with the winter retreat.
turned upside down and over each other!
ah must be cold: D
I love the decoration yes: D
Are not you afraid there alone? There are a lot of scenarios in mind. the cook who cooked the trout could be serial killer: /
fortunately not: D
Look again, you're popular. Do you think I am, can I be famous? : D: D

Moody place, nice photos to picture the story. Have a great day!

If there's one post I always like, that will be anything about travel. Very nice @velimir.

I like in a way that praises and loves the cook, because of its delicious cuisine. Maybe because some people think someone is a very important person. Sometimes there are also people who do what people do. Praising someone is not an easy thing but actually not too difficult to do. What you do is very wise there.

Nice moment i like it

It seems like a nice and cozy place to hang out to. Nice photos as always.

So cute of you to tell the lady who made your food how much you enjoyed it! Keep doing that, such kindness is so worth it. Hope we can follow each other and share more good vibes! :)

We've eaten to many restaurants but I never walked to the kitchen and tell the cook how good he/she did. You inspire me sir.

oh my friend, that it s so good congratulations, follow me please

I love the roses, they look beautiful

I like the way the sunlight coming through the curtains give a reddish glow to the room. I am far from an experienced photographer but I do a photography every spring with my grade 8’s. we talk about the different elements of photography. The lighting on these pictures is a cool example.
