Photography Adventure #2

Hey Steemit! This is my second post about my trip to the Porcupine mountains. These are some of the photos that I took while hiking. Enjoy!

Took this one not too far from our cabin. It wasn't too busy but there were cars flying by at 100 kmh while I was trying to get the shot.

I took this photo when I was hiking one of the trails along one of the rivers. There were a lot of small and large waterfalls with overhangs made of dirt and tree roots. It was really scary leaning over them because you could feel that they would fall at any time. Still I managed to get on one where the mist was collecting on the plants to get this picture. Micro-lens shots are overused but I still think this one is cool!

This is just a flower I thought was pretty cool.

Driving by Montreal on our way back! Not the one in Canada though unfortunately.

Here is a photo that I am particularly proud of. It got a bit grainy while trying to get it on Steemit but I find that t still looks somewhat nice. This was one of the trails that we were walking on and when I crossed the bend I saw this amazingly scenic shot in front of me. The winding root and moss covered landscape reminds me of something out of a fairy tail!

This is one that I took over a bridge before going on the hike. Down the road behind me in this picture to the left a ways there were ponds connecting to larger bodies of water. There was some large animal swimming in it catching fish. It had a large dorsal fin and I swear it looked like a dolphin but I can't believe that they would be living in these waters. If anybody knows anything about the animals of lake superior you should leave it in the comments!
