Hello everyone!

My name is Buster, I’m 31 old and originally from Stockholm, Sweden but since my late teens I have had my home base in Helsingborg.

In January 2017 I did the scariest, but also most rewarding thing I’ve done in life. I quit my job at Apple, sold my apartment and with a one way ticket to Bangkok I left every comfort zone I had behind.

Since then I’ve spent my time on the often over looked island of Sulawesi in Indonesia. Traveling by local transport from South to North while learning basic Indonesian. I helped build art in the African dessert for Afrika Burn and volunteered at organic farms in the rural regions of South Africa before spending about two months on the countryside in Finland.

During the end of last summer I spent six weeks hitchhiking from Hungary to Sweden passing through Austria, Germany, Luxemburg, Belgium, Holland and Denmark. This really opened up my eyes for hitchhiking as a way of traveling and ever since I've been longing for more and spent a lot of time thinking about what to do next, and now its finally time!

Early on Tuesday morning I will catch yet another one way flight on this indefinite journey. This time heading for Marrakesh, Morocco and from there the loose plan is to hitchhike my way north and cross the Strait of Gibraltar into Europe. Continue through Europe in early spring and if I don’t get distracted on the way, all the way across Middle East and in to India.

Here I will share my journey through writing, photos and videos in hope to inspire others to breach outside their comfort zone and try alternative ways of traveling.
