My 5 favourite things of Valencia!

What is there not to like about Valencia! Anyone of you ever been?
In this article, I'm going to tell you a bit about my favourite things in Valencia!
I just picked 5 things because there are a lot of things to like, and I don't feel like writing a book.

One of my top favourites is the area El Carmen. Architectural, it's not the nicest part of the city but it is known for all the street art! And believe me, there is a lot! An open-air gallery! I loved wondering thru the streets of El Carmen. The moment you see a narrow street or alley and you think it is nothing … definitely, walk thru them and find amazing pieces of art.

Follow Turia park in the old dried out river to the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias or the city of art and science. This is an amazing futuristic area with phenomenal architecture! The crazy way these buildings are built gives a feel of stepping in the future! The bright white reflecting everywhere in the water with the contrast of the green park. I spend a whole afternoon wandering around gazing and admiring shapes, formes, knowledge that went into creating this! This is also one of my favourite parts!

Valencia has so many things to offer! A beach, stunning architecture, good food,...and history! This brings me to the other favourite. The old silk centre, La lonja de la Seda ! It has these really cool and massive columns on the inside and really funny gargoyles on the outside check them out! Really hilarious, spot a guy shitting, a woman masturbating and another guy peeing in a pot! I am not kidding! I've got the pictures but did you spot them on your trip to Valencia? Oh and a tip it is free to visit on a Sunday!

La Mercado central is a thing not to miss! It is one of the largest covered markets in Valencia! The again brilliant architecture here on the out and inside! I love the vibe on the inside, busy, loud, fantastic smells, and beautiful products everywhere! If you are there try the horchata! Typical Spanish drink made of chufa!

Last but not least on my list of my favourites place in Valencia, is the view from the belltower! It cost you 2 euros to go up the spiral steps, and there are quite a few! But it definitely worth it! The view wide and far! Pretty stunning, you can see the old river and the city of art and science, blue domes of the cathedral really fantastic!

Valencia it´s beautiful! One of my favourites last trips in Spain. Nice city and great people.
I remember to visit a small coast village close to Valencia, Jávea.. with amazing beach..

yes indeed! I really like Spain in general! Javea is not that far haven't seen the beautiful beach from the picture though! I did take a boat trip from Javea to Denia and back :p lovely coastline!
