#travelcheap London to Sibiu trip

Dear steamers,

Let me take to you on a trip to the highest peaks in our mountains. Today's trips starts in London.
Let's take this cheap wizz air flight on 30th of August, which btw is a direct flight:

I'd say it's pretty good for covering 2300+ km:

Let's pick up a skoda octavia rental car because it has a very big trunk and no limit on the number of kilometers you can make. 5 days rental price is 208 euros:

From the airport to our first destination, Transfagarasan, we'll have a 61 km drive.

Let's enjoy the next 29 km. After all they were voted as one of the best in the world:

We reached our second destination, Balea lodge at Balea lake, 2040 m altitude. We'll camp here for the night.

In the morning we'll take a 5 hours hike to Negoiu peak, the second tallest peak in Romania (2,535 m).

Going back is the same, no secret in that, so if you're not up for a 10 hours hike, you have the option to camp at Caltun lake if you don't mind sleeping in a tent.
Look for the frozen lake in the below video. That's Caltun lake.

Don't worry, the guy went off track allot. The regular track is accessible, but I doubt top gear guys took it :).

Back to Balea lodge.

After a well earned rest and a good night sleep, we'll take our second hike to Moldoveanu peak the tallest one in Romania(2,544 m).
The hike is too long to do it in one day, so before we reach the peak we'll have to camp at Podragu lodge (around 10 euros per night http://www.podragu.ro/podragu-hut-fagaras-mountains/):
