(T.1) Know Prague trough David CernysteemCreated with Sketch.

Now I will diverge a little bit from nuclear fusion, and share my Travel experiences with you.

I will reveal you my 'secret walk' through Prague, which is best to start at metro station Jiriho z Podebrad next to the Kostel Nejsvetejsiho Srdce Pane and then walk to the first out of 6 stops.

Checkpoint 1: The Tower

T.1 Zizkov toranj.JPG

The Zizkov tower has crawling babies on itself, made by D. Cerny - crawling babies represent infancy of the communism (as the tower was made by them). You can climb on the tower for the great view, probably the best one after Petrin tower. And you can have a very nice lunch or dinner here, but for quite of money even for average Western Europeans.

I recommend continuing the walk to Wenceslas square through the Riegrovy Sady Beer Garden. You can stop by for a beer, if you feel like it.

Checkpoint 2: Upside-down Horse

T.1 Naopacke konj.JPG

After walkthrough Riegerovy Sady, you should pass Wenceslas square and come to Lucerna Palac. Inside you will see one more sculpture of D. Cerny - Wenceslas riding the horse that is upside down. Except that the horse is upside down, the sculpture is the same as the one on the square. It probably represents a mocking to the history, legends, and tradition.

Now continue to the other side of Lucerna Place, enter Kino Svetozar passage and take a rest in Franciscan Garden. Notice how murmur from the passage has disappeared and everything seems quiet now!

Checkpoint 3: Kafka's Head

T.1 Kafkina glava.JPG

Third D. Cerny sculpture does not need any explanation if you know about Kafka's book "The Metamorphosis".

After this point, I would recommend to visit pub U Medvidku and try their home-made beer.

Checkpoint 4: Dangling man

T.1 Frojd.JPG

After U Medvidku, just go left 100m and look up - you will see Hanging Sigmund Freud looking at the crowd passing under him. It probably represents how humanity falls and he was kind of right... Even though he is 260 cm tall, he appears to be around 150-170cm... ask your friends what do they think how tall is the statue if they do not know about it ;)

Now continue towards Legion Bridge (Most Legii) and sit in Mlynska Kavarna if you feel like sitting.

Checkpoint 5: Babies (again!)

T.1 Beba.jpg

That is my brother on the photo.

Those are the same babies as the ones from the Zizkov TV Tower (e.i. Checkpoint 1 of the tour). People say that you will be lucky if you touch baby's butt . . .

Now continue towards Charles Bridge (Karluv Most), but do not climb to it - rather pass under it and walk towards the final checkpoint.

Checkpoint 6: Pissing guys

T.1 Pisonje.jpg

That is my cousin on the photo.

The last, but not the least, part of my tour: two guys pissing on the Czech Republic at front of Kafka Museum (I guess I do not need to explain what D. Cerny wanted to say here).

This tour is over here and I hope you enjoyed it, I made it after some time living in Prague and this was the way to show the hidden part of Prague to my visitors and avoiding tourists crowd at the same time.

When finished, you can cross the river along Manes bridge (Menesuv most) and have deserved meal in U Rudolfina. They have really good food there and more importantly 'the best' Pilsner Urquell in the city.

Disclamer: You do not need to stop in every pub I recommended here, they are just advice if you feel like it.

It is seen here that the towers in the high tower will be a lot of work. It's a beautiful idol here to see. The reverse horse looks like a lot of beautiful things. I'm really surprised by the fact that these moments are wonderful to me. One word is different.
