Invest in Long-Term Travel and Find Out Your Purpose in Life

Isn't it amazing how you have more friends from Cusco. Are you having a hard time adjusting back to normal life? Where are you settled down now?

I've been back to the US for 5 weeks. I've had a real hard time with reverse culture shock. I miss my hippy Argentinian friends in Ecuador. I was in Vilcabamba for about a year. The whole town new me and wanted to hang out.

I had so many friends there. From multi millionaire retired gringos to my barefoot hippie friends hanging out in the park selling Jewelry. They were the best. They even grew their own herb in the mountain side. They are excited I'm spending Christmas with them this year in Ecuador.

Over the past year or so I concluded I'm really good at traveling. It's like my natural state after spending most of my adult life living out of a backpack. I've found a real comfort knowing I'm leaving Up-State NY for Bangkok in two weeks. Makes me happy!

Have a great day!

I totally agree with you. I want to work on a start-up about tourism so I could move and travel again, and have financial freedom at the same time.

Yeah I have some hippie Argentinean and Brazilian friends in SA too.

But I'll check with steemit if things are gonna change... Maybe I can travel again. ;)

You too!

Looks like steemit may be your ticket to ride! You sure are doing well on here. I've had some hit and miss success but you are killin' it! Go @diabolika!

I totally know your pressure to get your finances in order. Quite normal stuff.

I found some solid financial freedom several years ago; at the same time I lost my ambition to work, I started drinking, smoking weed, even eating San Pedro Cactus and having crazy drugged out sex all day with my then girlfriend, and then pigging out late at night! I mean day after day after day. Dream life right? I tell my guy friends that and they all say how lucky I am.

I found my health going to crap, my relationship too, and depression setting in. That's when I left Ecuador and basically realized I'm the World Travel Pro on steemit or in real. I started traveling again, feeling better, started writing, and do this blog. Now I'm back to my old self. Money really is the root of all evil, I experienced it first hand.

After being in the material world of the US I'm so looking forward to finding some dumpy side street in Bangkok and eating some Thai noodle soup with the the locals for 80 cents! lol

Anyway probably way too much info my fellow Stemian! You're really doing well on here. Keep up the good work! I wish you all the steemit success you deserve!

lol @world-travel-pro, thanks for sharing the details of your high life! I think you should turn this comment into a post instead! :P

finding some dumpy side street in Bangkok and eating some Thai noodle

This is so mainstream nowadays, it becomes amazing for the Americans I guess.

Ok, good luck.

Thanks for the advice. Maybe I'll turn it into a post! Have a great day!
