Mudhaffar Mosque

The Mudhaffar Mosque is situated at the center of Taiz in Yemen and it was believed to have been constructed back in the 13th century. Up to this day, the Mudhaffar Mosque is still being used by locals to pray in especially during the Friday congregation prayer or the Juma’a. In this mosque, there is a public bath house and from time to time, Islamic teachers to go there to teach people about Islam – the mosque then also functions as a madrassah or an Islamic learning center.
