"-19C and they never moved" how do they do it?

I was in Thailand this summer and it was crazy hot! I was jumping from shade to shade, I couldn't bare it. Yet the solders were standing for hours in full sun light in full uniform and marching!

HOW DO THEY DO IT? Can anyone tell me their secret?
