today the riads that still exist in some moroccan cities, are actually protecting the historical moroccan heritage. so that we still can see so many riads in the oold cities  such as fes and marrakesh and in those two cities you can find so many of riads that  buils decades ago following the islamic or more precisly the moroccan ways and architecteur. so what's riad as the moroccan know that riad is traditional house which is characterized by having an inner courtyard or a garden as the central element of the building. As a matter of fact, the name comes from the Arab word "ryad" which means garden.

those riads are carecterised also by  Following the Islamic ideas of privacy and inward reflection, a riad doesn’t usually have large windows facing the outside. Instead, rooms in a riad will have windows facing the opened-ceiling inner courtyard/garden so that no one can see what's going on out the riad.

An inner garden is also highly prized and courtyards are likely to feature native citrus trees, palms, and jasmine. Their fragrances add to the tranquility of the trickling waters, for a perfectly balanced and harmonious oasis of peace. so that you can enjoy a wonderful natural view in yard of the palace or riad.

as we all know that moroccan care so much about having the old moroccan design and architechture. Morocco has a rich architectural history and one of the great pleasures of a holiday in Morocco is staying in or visiting an historical building, such as riads especially those in marrakesh because a lot of people come from all over the wold to enjoy the beauty and the that amalgamation and beauty of andalusian and old moroccan islamic design.
