There wasn't enough time to explore this hotel, so my advice is to stay at this hotel if you plan for more than 1 week.
This hotel is great for kids. There is plenty to do just at this hotel alone and you could probably do it all without ever leaving the hotel(except getting better bite to eat elsewhere).
Highlights:
King Shops are located walking distance from the hotel. An outdoor, lakeside mall with high-end clothing, jewelry & gift shops, plus a weekly farmer's market & shows. I bought most of my souvenir here.
Parrots at the hotel lobby, though I only saw them once, so maybe there is a certain time they let them out. Flamingos near the West Pool.
Hiking Trails on the East side near Buddha Point
Museum full of statues, mostly Asian, some Polynesian or Indian.
Tram to take you from one Tower to another (there are 3 towers).
Restaurants scattered throughout.
Several pools, spa, sauna, exercise rooms, and small shops for souvenir.
Lagoon to do paddleboard, kayak, water bicycle
- Dolphins.
Cons
There doesn't seem to be a "shore" to go out to the beach, though I didn't have enough time to explore.
welcome from another newbie ;)
