A shady pond with mermaids and geese in the middle of a quiet village

Often, traveling to the outskirts of Bryansk, you can stumble on amazing places where life seems to have stopped many years ago. Last year we visited one of these beautiful places and found this pond with a small fountain in the middle.

The place seems incredibly magical and attractive, because it is full of beautiful trees, and it seems as if this place is located in a real fairy forest.

But it is not any forest, but a real village with the low houses and the river, Takoma nearby, where the local fishermen catch huge carp.

And yet there are a lot of geese who, like white swans float on the smooth surface of the lake and sometimes it seems that now catches a glimpse of a mermaid tail and shaking his long hair, fabulous girl emerges for a second, then again disappear in the water column of the reservoir.

This place is very Italian painters who depicted exactly the same landscapes on their immortal canvases. One day we will definitely come back here. Maybe I'll even bring a couple of fishing rods to sit on the shore of the lake and fish.
