Psychologists prove those who travel tend to be happier!

in travel •  7 years ago

Traveling is synonymous to going on a journey to a particular place using one

form of transportation or the other. While some travel for business, others travel

for pleasure. Some countries have found the best way to even link travelling with

their tourism sector in order to boost their economy. But whether you travel for

business or for pleasure, it serves as a great means for exposure and connecting

one culture to the other, one reality with another and one value with another.

Psychologists even prove that people who travel tend to be happier and at peace

than those who don’t. Travelling also serves as a means of real life education and

improves social and communication skills.

Travelling has existed for time immemorial, and although the means of

transportation may change over time, it has not in any way changed the fact that

people always travel. It is also interesting to realize that travelling is not

exclusively to humans as some animals also travel. For example, the whale sharks,

red crabs, flamingos, bats, penguins, zebras and whales are known for their

incredible migration.

Just imagine a world without travel, and then we will be left in a world of isolation

and the lack of exposure. If anyone intends to reap the benefits of travelling, the

best solution is simple; pick up your bags and travel to somewhere new today.
