My trip: England - Ruins and Locke Park

in travel •  7 years ago

Here are some photos of my one day trip to Ruin and Locke Park. Interesting place.

The ruins are located in the Borough of Barnsley, South Yorkshire, England.

The place was founded in 1861 and is open to visitors all year round. Free entrance.

I would recommend as a weekend trip. Perfect place for a few hours rest for all family.

Lovely place indeed... When were you there? Is it close to York?

I was there in January. It's 45 miles from York. 1 hour by car :)

Wow, really cool shots.

Thank you :)

Great Pics. For note the ruin above in Barnsley is called “Monk Bretton Priory” and was founded in the 12th century.
