Welcome to the 116th edition of #traveldigest! Enjoy!
As always all posts featured here will be put on our Editors Choice Map.

Hi, it's @choogirl here. Wow, I can't believe we're into February already. It feels like Christmas was just the other day, and now I'm saying "I'm going to Florida next month". I've actually booked a bunch of flights in the past couple of days so hopefully I will be adding my travel posts to SWM soon.

#1 Rock of Sigiriya, Sri Lanka

@bejaunt starts us off today climbing the giant rock at the UNESCO world heritage listed site, Sigiriya, in Sri Lanka. She provides an overview of the history and symbolism surrounding the site, before giving us some practical tips like when to go and what to bring. You do not have to be a rock climber either. A staircase will take you all the way to the top, where you will enjoy 360° views of the Sri Lankan jungle spread out below.

    #2 Luang Prabang, Laos

Next up, @travelstheworld takes us to Luang Prabang in northern Laos. The entire city—or rather, collection of villages—is UNESCO world heritage listed. A good way to explore the many temples and architecture of the city is by bicycle. When you're done, relax in one of the many cafes serving locally grown coffee in both European and Laotian styles. Taking a boat trip up the Mekong River to explore the famous Pak Ou caves filled with golden Buddhas is also highly recommended.

#3 Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Finally, @wincee takes us around Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. She describes her visit to the beautiful Cao Dai Temple where she watches a traditional Caodiast ceremony take place. Next she visits the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, which were used by Viet Cong soldiers during the war. Of course, no trip to Ho Chi Minh City would be complete without a visit to the massive Ben Thanh Market, where @wincee experiences first hand the lengths that vendors will go to make a sale.

That Ho Chi Minh temple is quite nice, wow

I'd be scared going into the tunnel tho, too narrow , yikes

    Awesome round up 👍

Ho Chi Minh is a cool city Fairy.

We always said that we would go to Vietnam for the pho, now I don't eat meat, I don't have much desire to go there 😳

Come on! Vietnam is full of good vegan food.
