🥇 Climbing Frenchman Peak by @betterthanhome
Cape Le Grand Nationalpark has a few highlights itself you will never forget and one if it is the Frenchman Peak. The Frenchman Peak is one of three Mountains in the Nationalpark which were formed by erosion and movements in the Earth’s crust over the past 600 million years. In 1870 the famous australian colonist John Forrest explored the region and his brother Alexander Forrest gave it the name Frenchman Peak because of the peak looking like a man wearing a Frenchman’s cap.

🥈 Unforgettable August - Regatta, Danube and Vinci by @ladysnowhite
But the topic of this post is entrence to the Iron Gates. The width of the Danube, the frequent winds, and the calmnees of the river in this part of the stream, create excellent condititons for water sports. That's why traditionally sailing regattas are held here every August. In addition, this place is very attractive for tourists becauce of its natural beauty, the famous and lately restored Golubac Fortress, as well as the cyciling route that follows one part of the bank of the Danube.

🥉 Climb to Naiguatá peak, the roof of the Venezuelan Coastal Range by @sofathana
We continued walking, sometimes everything seemed like a dream, I wondered what am I doing here at this time of night? What you normally think when the physical effort is strong and you think you would be better sleeping in your bed hahaha ... We arrived at a part called Los Toyotas and then Explanada, from there the breaks we made were few and short, less than 10 minutes, the group was lively and because of the cold it was hitting, nobody wanted to stop.
