While Utah I always want to go to the mountains. Some people are beach people. I grew up in San Diego, California and so you might think I am a beach person. I am not. I am most definately a mountain person and I didn't want to miss an opportunity to go to my beloved Utah mountains.

After the amazing road trip from Abel Tasman to Franz Josef in the previous blog, it was time to check out the pretty "cool" sites of this iconic glacier in the South Island of New Zealand. I can safely say it was one of the highlights of my travels this year and everyone I was with on the adventure tour would probably say the same.

Hobart is the capital city of Tasmania and is the second oldest capital in Australia. Sydney is the oldest. It is situated at the entrance to the Derwent River and is surrounded by picturesque natural bushland and is also blessed with beautiful beaches which line both the shores and the estuary.
