Prinkipo Island Pictures | Büyükada | Istanbul
Where is the most beautiful place of Istanbul, the Prince Islands are. Formerly known as Prinkipos Islands. In Istanbul, it proves how many legends are lost in our hands that take a place of beauty. In the pine trees, there are enormous historical villas, breathtaking streets, beaches where you have 5 clothes on your bike, demolished parks and hills, together with a minority of people who live their own culture and are part of a new island culture.
That's exactly why my heart hurts when I go to the island. Tarihe is not like a buried name, I am afraid very much to awaken the feet of the tanzanian monsters tourists and the feet that come from outside to serve these tourists. The quality is gone, nickel comes. The old islander even ran away in the islands.
It is also possible to feel like you have been vacationed in Cunda or the Aegean other beautiful place in the same island, as if you were in Esenler Bus Station. This article also contains the tips that determine the fine line between heaven and hell in Büyükada.
We are the first and most desirable stimulus; bitter but to go to summer in Büyükada. Unfortunately. I know, the time you want to go the most. You want to listen a bit, enjoy the open air. But even on weekdays you will be welcomed with a dismayed tourist crowd traveling on the ferry with a 12-member family consisting of 3 husbands and 8 children, and my home's balcony was better. So expect the good September, or grab the Great Island before May in May. Then it is not eaten by Büyükada taste.
I think in my name, "If I swim in Kilyos, and eee is swimming in the Grand Bazaar here, then I can also get wet in the islands," but please do not decide for me because this is a very controversial subject. Even if the sea is clean, you certainly can not vouch for it. Büyükada's pleasure comes out with the most of the boat, as if you are here everywhere in the water. When you get off the boat you can agree with one of the boatboats.
First of all, please do not fall for the selfish, unconscious Tazmanian Beast tourists who come to the island and fall for everyone and get on the phaeton. You know, because of the touristic phaeton tourism in the islands, hundreds of horses are being operated on very severe conditions and some of them can not take the year off. According to the official sources of the municipality, 400 horses die each year in each Island, but it is said that the actual number is 700-800, along with the ones not recorded. According to the report of the Animal Rights Monitoring Committee (JUSTICE), they were dying within 2 years of starting to work at the fayt.
There are cafes and restaurants in different places of the island but you can also want to have a picnic. Put your panties on your picnic, pick up the picnic snacks you like from delicatessen or markets in the bazaar, and take yourselves away from the touristic crowd of the island, the quietest corners wait for you. Also remember, you can come to Büyükada on your own bike because you are allowed to put your bike on the City Lines ferry.
Near the bazaar there are places to rent bikes on almost every street but some cyclists' bikes can be quite old and neglected. Our recommendation is to rent bicycles from Bicycle Trade, the pioneer of Ada's 60-year-old biker, Sami Abi. The bikes in here are a bit better. It already shows where you are asking yourself.
You have a bike under you, you can walk the island's wonderful streets as you wish. The magnificent beauty is certainly from the historical, wooden, ornate and imposing mansions here. You're likely to come across a wonderful palace girl on every street. Jump on the bike, go out on the street street kiosk. The most beautiful mansions of Adan are clustered in Nizam district, but there are very nice constructions in Maden district. Do not worry, you will find places on our bike route that we will not miss on our Tourist Attractions section in Büyükada.
We rented bicycles and pedaled to the peaks of the island, and we have largely pitched the unpleasant crowds, and now we are going to reach nirvan by sifting the rest. Here is Aya Yorgi Hill. There is really a correlation like this; If you enter into a small or physical effort into the work, rotten apples are eliminated. To go to Aya Yorgi you first pedal to the Amusement Park area, which is the starting point for large and small lakes, about 3 kilometers from the pier. Keep your bikes there because you have to go up the steep slope of Aya Yorgi. It can not enter any bic vehicles, including bicycles. It does not require much conditioning, but it lasts at least 25 minutes. At this stage, the last tourists are eliminated and you are totally abstracted from the island when you are in that delightful hill above. There are 3 great things here; one is Aya Yorgi Church, the other is Yücetepe Kır Gazinosu, and the last is sunset.
When you reach the church, you can light a candle and wish for it right away. The original name is Agios Georgios Greek Orthodox Monastery and built in the name of St. George in 1751. The Aya Yorgi Church is filled twice a year on April 23rd and September 24th with no wishes whatsoever of Muslim, Christian and Jewish descent.
The most valuable treasure of the church is the Saint George icon, which kills a sea monster with spear inside. This icon also has a story. According to Rivay, during the Byzantine period, priests of the church bore them under the earth during the occupation times so that the iconic and sacred relics of the church would be damaged. Years later, Aya Yorgi's dreams began to enter a shepherd. This shepherd told him to climb this slope barefoot and climb without talking at all, to stand in the place where he heard the bell sound and to dig the earth. Aya Yorgi also listened to this prophecy and indeed found the ikonalos displayed on the church under the earth.

These trips to the Island were one of the best memories we had of our time in Istanbul! One time we were sitting with an entire school! It was fun!
