A VISIT TO THE MOTHERLESS.

And our team was at it again today.
Every 1st day of the year we always go to visit the motherless baby home.
It was a wonderful experience.

I got so impress that Young people dedicate their time to train and bring this children up.
But at that same time my heart was broken to discover that for the past 15 years and more that the home has been in existence the government has not contributed a dime to the motherless home.
We asked how the survive and pay their staffs and we were told that the UNICEF and other Non governmental bodies has been their source of income.

I also discovered that the workers that works there are below 30 years to avoid aged people taking care of the children. The workers are all strong, active and agile.
The environment was decorated by Beautiful facilities.

It also got my attention that children that are labelled or tagged witches and wizard and evil are being raised and trained to become good citizens.

Not only are their educational life taken care of, their spiritual and physical life are also taken into consideration too.
Before they are sent out to the university which some of them are about rounding off their studies they are being taught vocational skills like sewing, farming, music, art etc.

I got to play with some of their facility like this👇👇👇👇👇👇👇

Some paintings there on the wall were also made by the some of the children.
They had football fields, basket ball pitch, volley ball pitch etc to make their stay interesting.
The Children there are sent to schools outside the Local government or vicinity in other for them to come in contact with other children with fathers and mothers.

I also got to see the farms in which the children are trained to become good farmers together with the fish pond and place where the snails are raised.

It was really a nice tour and experience.

I will love to go there some other time.
Inasmuch as we went there we didn't live empty handed, we gave out the little we had, Ranging from bag of rice, toilet roll, biscuit, indomie (Noodles), crate of Eggs etc.

They were so happy to see us come being that we are young people like them.
We were allowed to see the children but was at the same time to restricted from taking photographs with them, i got to see personally the food given to the children it was indeed so rich and inviting with big meats being displayed😁😁😁.
