Mask making competition in the 39th Masskara Festival 2019 is now happening in Bacolod City Negros Occidental. The following entries are displayed in Robinson's Place in Brgy. Mandalagan. The submission of entries ended last Sunday, October 15 two weeks before the announcement of winners and consolation prizes.
The Mask making competition is open to all Bacolodnon's and must submit their applications together with their entries. Contestants can get their applications in ABS-CBN building at Lacson Street, Brgy. Mandalagan.
Based on the guidelines and criteria for judging, entries should meet the following standards.
Originality
the mask should be wearable
creativity level
materials used
quality of work
smiling mask
audience impact during the ramp
The resemblance to the theme " All about Bacolod "
These entries are displayed in commercial places for public viewing during the Masskara Event. Where people are free to take pictures, promote to social media and can purchase the said mask after the competition. You can negotiate to the respective creators of these Masskara Festival masks.
Other entries are displayed in different areas to control the traffic volume as a manifestation of crowd congestion.
The highlight of the Masskara festival is this coming Sunday, October 28. Where you can witness colorful costumes, and smiling masks while dancing to the beat of the music.
This week is the best time to visit Bacolod City for you to experience the bunch of activities that will put a smile to your sad face. Let's enjoy together and free ourselves from worries that cause stress to us.
