Thanks a lot man! It was a little crazy but definitely a lot of fun. For long exposures I generally carry a small travel tripod and set my camera on a 3 second timer so I can hit the trigger with enough time to step back and not shake the image. Shoot in raw. I close the iris down as much as I can and mess with my exposure until it looks just right. I actually don't have any ND filters for my camera but I recommend them. It's something I'm looking at adding to my kit. Other than that just get out there and experiment!
