So in the year 2015 I went on a trip to Egypt. it was a fun filled beautiful trip. From the great pyramids of Giza to the Temples of Aswaan to the deep blue waters of the Red Sea in Dahab to crazy nights of Arab spring anniversaries ! It was one hell of a trip !

In the next few parts i will share various aspects of the Egyptian journey ! Hope you guys like it .

So the first evening started with a cruise on Nile River. The Belly dancers were amazing. In Some cases their movements are so quick that a camera simply captures a Blur :-O

The Sphinx

While one of the most famous symbols of ancient Egypt and subject of many studies and theories. In truth no one know who built it and why it was built. Its breath taking site. Huge , Single stone carving. The sight of it is enough to fascinate a human being for hours. One of the more interesting theories Was the one below

According to Graham Hancock, computer simulations show that in 10,500 BC the constellation of Leo housed the sun on the spring equinox – i.e. an hour before dawn in that epoch Leo would have reclined due east along the horizon in the place where the sun would soon rise. This means that the lion-bodied Sphinx, with its due-east orientation, would have gazed directly on that morning at the one constellation in the sky that might reasonably be regarded as its own celestial counterpart.

Yes cool! Thanks. Happy travels

beautiful country and great population !! egyptian have, despite their bad conditions a fantastic sense of humour and can make you laugh like hell. I am Lebanese and have lots of Egyptian friends.

Yes I agree. Love the people .It seemed to me that humor was a way of dealing with their situation.

and it is exactly like that in my opinion !! it is a way of dealing with the whole things they are facing in everyday life !! hope you had fun there and had the chance to eat some great food ( some typical dessert like Umm Ali )

what a fun trip!
