Mississippi Solo Series #6 - a World of Kindness

Hi Rebecca. True, there are many differences between traveling as a man or as a woman, and the situations you describe in your post rarely happen to me. Men usually are more straight forward in that regard, but as one of your commenters said; If you react kind, but firmly that you are not interested, most men will not push on.

I read about a woman the other day who is on a quest to walk around the entire world. She is 3 years in, and has camped all over the place. Check it out; http://www.shewalkstheearth.com

This situation I wrote about in the post ended like this: In the night the man came back and wanted "to talk"... I fortunately was in my car and not in my tent yet and could drive away..

the further days I stopped even looking to other man at the supermarket because I don't wanted to send the wrong signals to them...

What a great woman! I'll check her page! Thanks for the link..
