After our long flight from Singapore with a stop over in Dubai we finally stepped foot in Africa! We got picked up from the airport and taken to our hotel at the Waterfront. The sun was going down so we quickly checked in and headed down to have a look around and get some dinner.

Steve Irwin´s Australia Zoo Part 1

We´ve got told that we definitely shouldn´t miss the 12 o´clock show at The Crocoseum. Since Crocs were the absolute Passion of Steve we gave it a try and went into that massive arena. At around 11am the arena was almost fully occupied. We already had a feeling that it is going to be really let´s say american.

Beach Boulders.

There are six main beaches to choose from in Caloundra, so water activities play a big part in the area. Activities such as, paddle canoes on calm inlets, surf the breaks, fish from jetties or further out to sea, ride a kayak, jet ski or wind surf or walk along the waterfront and dine in one of the restaurants or cafes whist taking in the fabulous sea views.
