🎡 Europe - Weekly Round-Up #7

Who says no to Europe?! Here is the route for you: Spain - Denmark - Iceland!

We offer you to visit Alhambra, the palace which is a good example of the two cultures in the South. When you are done, head over to the never ending white cliffs near the Copenhagen. Full instructions on how to get there - provided! And we finish the selection with a great video from Iceland. An unusual site because it is a plane wreck but interesting nevertheless!

Alhambra - A Pearl Set in Emeralds

They called this wonder "a pearl set in emeralds". Why these exact words? The answer lies in the setting where the palace is built - it stands out from the lush green forest growing around it, shining brightly under the setting sun.

These days the stair leading down to the beach is well maintained, wide and easy accessible but only a few years ago it was quite an adventure to embark on and you really had to watch your step, luckily that time is over and you can enjoy a good hike without too many worries, still be aware though.

DC Plane Wreck & Black Beach by Vík #icelandtravel

Sadly this US Navy plane ran out of fuel about 45 years ago and crashed into the black beach along the South Coast of beautiful Iceland. The crew survived and it turned out that it was an mistake by the pilot who turned the wrong switch.
