🏆 TRAVELFEED WEEKLY ROUND-UP #52

Dear Steem Travel Community, we slowly started to pick up curation again this last week (some might have already noticed our upvotes come in). Many from our team are still on the road or recovering but thanks to three new curators who joined our team couple of days ago we can continue with TravelFeed. And we're extremely grateful for it. So please welcome @elsaenroute , @smeralda and @mangonambo .

We're still holding back from doing daily curation posts, but we try to continue asap or find a replacement for it which will also drive rewards to our participants. We started from Evora on a rainy Saturday morning heading northeast. We avoided the highway in order to take a good look to the countryside but the rain confided us in the car and my attempt to take pictures through the window was a total disaster :) Nevertheless I managed to take a couple of shots decent enough to present them here!

About halfway we stopped at a buffet restaurant to enjoy lots of delicious food. We got to try lots of new dishes and especially liked the steamed buns! When the time came to pay, once again we were not allowed to. We tried our best but forcing it anymore would have been received as a very rude gesture, so we humbly thanked them for paying before we got back in the car and continued towards Kunming.

Several paths open up the Imberg, as the Kapuzinerberg was formerly called. I decide to climb the Imbergstiege, which leads steeply up from Steingasse. The narrow Steingasse was the most important transport route for salt in the Middle Ages. The city of Salzburg owes not only its name and but also its considerable wealth over several centuries to the 'white gold'.
