The story is that tonight I am on a very famous bridge that was built in 1962, the name is the Ampera bridge in Palembang, South Sumatra. Yes, today I am at the Ampera Bridge, South Sumatra. This bridge is the longest bridge in Southeast Asia.
Previously, this bridge could be lifted, so that passing ships did not hit the body of this bridge while passing through the Musi River. Ships with a height of 44.5 meters can pass this bridge when the bridge is raised. Gradually this function is stopped due to the flow of traffic passing through the top of this bridge. This bridge has been an icon of the city of Palembang for decades. It is located in the middle of Palembang city. This bridge connects the Seberang Ilir and Seberang Ulu areas which originate from the Musi River. Yes, this is my story on a bridge full of history. Maybe you can also visit the Ampera Bridge which is the pride of the people of South Sumatra.
