Itchy Feet : The Plight of a Wanderlust

I have been travelling for quite sometime now. Its been a roller coaster ride every now and then. Each adventure is unique and it is just fair to treat them new experience amidst the circumstances. I may not be the most travelled person in the world but I have my share of adventure and misadventures.

For beginners, getting out of your comfort zone is the first step. You will not able to start your great adventure without considering this one. Believe me, everything will follow. The fate is in your hands.

Safety is one of the considerations when travelling. This is very important because we are talking about life and death here. For those countries where you have travel advisories, there is nothing wrong to follow them. Always coordinate with your embassy regarding this matter. If you feel you are threatened or unsafe, better pack up and leave at once. If you’re a dare devil, go on with your plans. Just be take extra care on your actions.

Always check your travel documents. Take note that if you’re travelling that requires a passport, always check when it will expire. Some countries have a requirement that you can only travel with a least 6months before the due date. This will lessen the hustle and trouble especially if you are in a dream vacation. If you discover your passport is about to expire, renew it as soonest time possible.

Never neglect the importance of travel insurance. Having an ultimate vacation brings excitement but we do not know what will happen in between. I do not wish for any tragedy to occur but it pays when you are prepared. Travel insurance comes in cheap prices ans it will save you from a lot of trouble.

Check your flight schedule. Sometimes the time makes you feel confused. This is the usual dilemma for seasoned travellers. In some cases, flight schedule happens every early or even in the wee hours. Once in a while, check it just to be sure you will never miss your flight. Always be oriented to time. This will save you from chaos.

Cheap accomodations came in handy. You do not need to explore the world and pay a lot in a hotel. There are place for rent which is just right for your budget. It is also important to take consideration of securing your things when travelling.

These are my few tips on travelling. I may have overlook on some but these might help you consider before unleashing yourself to the great adventure that awaits you.
