Carocok beach is one of the tourist objects located west of the city of Painan, Pesisir Selatan Regency, West Sumatra Province. This beach is one of the favorite places for tourists to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of the sunset panorama.
Several tourist facilities are already available in this beach area, including several lodgings that you can rent, restaurants with seafood main menus, public toilets to the provision of several gazebos to relax. One of the uniqueness of this beach is the existence of a floating bridge made of wood that leads to the middle of the sea. One of them is heading to Batu Kereta Island. To get to this island you just have to walk across the bridge which is about 100 meters from the shoreline.
Not far from this beach or about 200 meters to the west there is another small island that you can visit, namely Cingkuk Island. On this island you can play sea water, fishing to diving. Not only that, around the Carocok Beach area there are also many local souvenir sellers. If you are interested, you can buy one of the souvenirs offered for family gifts at home.
