The last few days of the National Day holiday, we were excited to climb the Badaling Great Wall, the sky was clear and the sun was shining, there were not many tourists on Badaling, not the usual crowded and noisy scene. It turned out that the National Day holiday was coming to an end and most tourists had already embarked on their return journeys, while the tourists had not yet arrived after the holiday, which created a rare environment for me to take photographs.
The Badaling Great Wall is located at the northern entrance of the ancient Guanguo Road in the Jundu Mountain, Yanqing District, Beijing. It is an important part of the Great Wall of China, the great defence project of ancient China, and is a defile of the Ming Great Wall. The Badaling Great Wall was an important outpost of the Juyong Pass, and it was said in ancient times that "the danger of Juyong was not in the Pass but Badaling".
国庆长假的最后几天，我们兴致勃勃地登上了八达岭长城，这天晴空万里，阳光明媚，八达岭上游客不多，完全没了平时那种人头攒动的喧闹的景象。原来国庆长假即将结束，大部分游客已踏上返程，而节后游客还未来到，倒是给我摄影采风创造了一个难得的环境。
八达岭长城位于北京市延庆区军都山关沟古道北口。是中国古代伟大的防御工程万里长城的重要组成部分，是明长城的一个隘口。八达岭长城为居庸关的重要前哨，古称“居庸之险不在关而在八达岭”。

On the south side of the entrance to the wall is a large cannon called the "General of this Time". The cannon is 2.85 metres long, with a calibre of 105mm, and is named after the "Imperial General of God's Might" cast into the cannon.
