This glacier originates in the Southern Patagonian ice field. In its descent, it reaches the South arm of Lake Argentino, with a front of 5 km in length, rising above the water with a height of about 60 m.

You have to try Argentine beef. Argentine meat is tasty, succulent and abundant. It comes from cows that graze freely in the extensive plains of La Pampa and are low in fat. In the restaurants of the city and haciendas of the Argentine countryside, you can see and enjoy the preparation of the traditional roast or the exquisite 'bife de chorizo' (steak of chorizo).

The people in Argentina are friendly and warm and will try to be kind to you and that you take a good memory of them. Especially the people of the small cities for whom receiving a foreigner is an important event.

Some considerations.

1.- Insecurity is not so much as a medium can make believe, but exists. Just be careful not to walk around dangerous neighborhoods.

2.- It may seem a little expensive if you go to places exclusively destined for tourism. They steal you. You should look for to find restaurants and malls much cheaper!
