Welcome to my Travel Tip series where I promote some of the most beautiful places, interesting landmarks and impressive architectural sites of my homeland, the Czech Republic.
Today, I will take you to one of the most beautiful Czech spas, the picturesque town of Podebrady.

Located in the central part of the country on the River Elbe, just some 50 km (30 mi) outside Prague, Podebrady is a little historic town with a population of approximately 14,000.
The origin of the town dates back to the medieval times – a stone castle was built on the site of Podebrady as early as in the 13th century but it was not until 1472 when the town was given the official status of the town from the king.

Several centuries later, numerous springs and healing mineral waters were discovered in Podebrady, which resulted in opening a spa in the town. The spa became very popular soon, attracting visitors from all parts of the country as well as from foreign countries, most notably Germany, Austria, Russia and even the U.S.
However, it is not just the spa that Podebrady has to offer to its visitors. The town is also famous for beautiful architecture. It is dominated by the majestic Podebrady Chateau but there are many other important historic buildings, impressive English-style parks and interesting landmarks in the town.

From picture Podebrady seems to be fairy tale place with amazing architectural master piece buildings, greenery, awesome parks and beautiful Spas all around. I am impressed by the old traditions and cultures of Czech Republic. Thanks you for introducing us with you area. @czechglobalhosts

I prefer small towns because they are much more peaceful and you can get to know the local spots. People are often more friendly in quieter areas too lol.

@czechglobalhosts, Another awesome travel tip post for who want to visit Czech Republic. Actually Podebrady town very small crown live, most historical location. Outstanding scenery indeed surrounding area. Everywhere can see ever green environment. With close River Elbe, increase more tourist attraction to Podebrady.
Look at above point. I can't believe more attraction to Prague lot of Germans, Austrians and Russians. Because they find sunny weather indeed hot location like as Thailand, Dubai etc.. So I can take imagine What's Podebrady situation. I think peoples who stay there, giving best customer service to every tourists. Their architecture structure so awesome. That's pretty valuable travel tip post for anyone want to travel to Prague. This time given another ancient city in Prague. There are so many landmarks. River Elbe give best safari boat experience. It's additionally advantage to attract more visitors. Prague has amazing buildings, castles. They have own architecture system. I really like to see Prague.
