It's time for another Travel Tunes Tuesday, a project created by @nomadicsoul where we share some of the music we've heard while traveling or that we listen to while traveling. Read the original post here.
Manamana
1. Stay by Zedd and Alessia Cara
Zedd is great listening for travel, period. But that's just, like, my opinion, man. Stay is a great song for road trips or walking through the city with your earbuds in ignoring other people or to make the subway ride more enjoyable. Even though the lyrics are about STAYING, I like to listen to it while I'm GOING. Oh, the irony, haha. Zedd is a Russian-born German and is known worldwide.
2. Bat Mocumba by Os Mutantes
Let's take it old school for a minute. This song is from 1969 when psychadelic rock was taking over the world. Literally. Os Mutantes is a band from Brazil and they made a big scene with their music. The interesting thing about this song is that they sing the same lyrics over and over then subtract the syllables from the end until there is only one left and then add them back one by one. A little bit of visual poeticism, i guess.
3. Tu Si Eu by Inna
Inna is from Romania and makes really catchy music. Tu Si Eu means You and I. Cliche? Maybe. But this is one to dance to around the world.
