Getting Away From the Rat Race Oahu February 2018

Sometimes we all just need to get away, far from civilization, collect our thoughts, and gather a new perspective.
I did that for a couple days in February 2018. Headed up to the Ko'olau mountains in Oahu, HI. We roughed it, Rationed food and water, tried to stay warm in the 55 degree nights under the stars with mist and rain, endured constant slips and falls in mud, while climbing peaks and valleys similar to BTC in December and January 2018, all of this while carrying a 55lb pack.
Some might not want any part of it, but ask me to go again and I would reply, "How soon are we leaving".

Something about feeling the mana, the energy that mother nature/ the aina provides. It helps recharge, and helps gain a new perspective.
