5. Cinnamon
Cinnamon contains many chemicals and nutrients, including manganese and potassium, along with important B vitamins. Cinnamon's nutritional properties help improve blood flow to your arms and legs, thus helping numbness in the hands and feet. Experts recommend 2-4g of cinnamon powder daily for good blood circulation.
6. Mustard oil
Mustard oil is a fatty vegetable oil extracted from mustard seed. As a source rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, vitamin E and antioxidants, it is considered one of the most healthy oils. Used in Ayurvedic medicine since ancient times because of its healing properties and herbal properties that are considered beneficial to hair, skin and body. Mustard oil not only stimulates blood circulation but also improves the health of the nerves due to the high magnesium content. Heat with some mustard oil and have someone massage your arm, hands and fingers with mustard oil for 10-20 minutes, two or three times a day.
7. Foods rich in B vitamins
To prevent numbness and itching sensation in your hands and feet, it is necessary to eat foods rich in B vitamins, especially B6 and B12. Vitamins that are essential for healthy nerve function and deficiency can cause numbness in the body, such as the hands, arms, fingers and legs. Include foods rich in vitamin B6 and B12 in your diet. Some good choices are eggs, butter, bananas, beans, fish, oatmeal, cheese, yogurt, nuts, dried nuts and seeds.
8. Food rich in magnesium
Low levels of magnesium in the body are one of the causes of numbness in the hands and feet. Magnesium is one of the most essential minerals for more than 300 biochemical reactions in the body. It controls nerve impulses, regulates body temperature, detoxifies, produces energy and forms healthy bones and teeth. Eat foods rich in magnesium such as dark green vegetables, nuts, seeds, oatmeal, peanut butter, cold water fish, butter, bananas and dark chocolate. You can also take magnesium supplements 350mg daily.
Some natural interventions
In addition to the above foods, exercise is one of the best ways to get rid of numbness, sensation, and movement of the hands and feet. Each part of your body can benefit from increased circulation, exercise and full body.
Also can use hot or cold therapy either hot or cold or both. Cold helps thrombosis and removes blood from the area. Heat allows blood vessels to dilate, increasing blood flow. Applying cold then alternately hot is helpful for numb patients, especially for 10-15 minutes of treatment consisting of 3 minutes of cold and 1 minute of repeated heater at least three times.
This is a good reminder of information I knew, but hadn't thought about in a while. Magnesium is a life saver for me as I suffer from severe leg cramps in my left thigh. If not for this, I'm not sure what I would do. It does help to reduce them and the severity of them. Thanks for sharing!
