There's something glorious about European tree pruning...
It's probably the first thing I noticed, crossing the sea from Scotland to mainland Europe.
The care and inherent wisdom in the guardianship of trees - the harmonious interrelationship of human and nature, for the mutual benefit of both and all - symmetry and best use of energy and resources.
A very interesting cultural difference, as UK trees in public places are more often left to grow on their own, and regularly removed when they become 'problematic' (according to perverse concepts about health and safety, and making nature submit).
What do you think?
Beautiful, happy day to you all! Clare xx
