We went to the Japanese Restaurant the other day and had a big celebration with a bunch of friends. There was a very nice garden outside of the restaurant with an evergreen tree in it. By the look of the trunk the tree seems to be pretty old.
It took this picture as we left to go home.

My new Galaxy S9 plus takes two pictures at once with the right setting, so here’s the wide angle of the same photo:

Wandering around later that night I had to test out the night time photo ability on the phone. There were some nice garden lights to photograph. The phone has a variable F-stop on it that adjusts for low lighting - I like the results.

Oh! First off, that evergreen is so very unusual to me with the branches hanging down like little tails. The bark has divine texture to it, but the camera! Oh, my!
It looks like my Galaxy 7 may need an upgrade! Mine is merely a phone, not some amazing camera in disguise of a phone. Wow.

I really think that is clever how it takes both! Not only does that S9 have the blur option, but having both shots is very cool! I have an older LG G5 that has both lenses, but it takes either or i believe. Yet it is handy for some shots.
