Here comes another beautiful day and it obviously comes with wonderful excitement. I am sharing the joy l have in me today with all my readers on this platform. I believe there's a joy in everyone that must surely come out. This today is one of the experiences l want to share with you during a journey l made some days ago in the volts region of Ghana. I share in my recent post a quick update on this trip which l want to thanks @galenkp for the excitement he showed upon the experience l had in this very first. It certainly was a wonderful adventure l had in there with my project friends.

This is not just any forest. But a forest of wild and dangerous animals. The most amazing part of this trip was the fact that you don't meet any person as you journey on. Not even a vehicle and all l could hear was the sound of birds and some other mammals. The beauty that these places displays is such a crazy one as it is filled with huge mountains and hills. All you need to carry on yourself is a bottle of water to carry you through. The town that we were heading to is about four hours away from where we started the trip and all we got to do was walk. You could imagine how stressed a journey like this could be since all you do is to claim and descend on these mountains to be able to reach the target town. The children from the town need to walk for about 30 min to this place to get access to potable water. And as they do that, they play as well somewhere around the place to go for the water.

But hopefully, we made it to the town of destination which was too far from the city. You may wonder how life in this town will be. I am going to share more with you in my subsequent posts about how people live a life in a place like this. They live happily even though there's no internet and electricity. The people there have no access to the internet and so no phone call is made there. But joy and happiness is one that you need to see in my subsequent post. Let us imagine the kind of food that people living in this forest eat. They really are good food filled with a lot of great nutrients since they eat from a natural environment. No food is bought outside of this place but farming is all they depend on. The road was made to help carry logs that were cut from the forest into the city. But just after the construction of the road, rains left it so much deteriorated leaving it difficult for even a bike to path on. It has always been a wonderful adventure having a life here in this forest located somewhere here in Ghana. Join me again later for some more updates on life in this forest. I share this in honor of #treetuesday by @old-guy-photos on this platform. Covid-19 is real.stay home, stay safe
