Taking photos of this wonderful old shagbark hickory tree in a neighbors yard, it was only when I zoomed in with the camera that I realized that the tree is hosting a quite prolific poison ivy vine!

There is a little white grub that likes to eat them too, and they often are wormy before they fall to the ground. But if you can find healthy ones, they are delicious!

I have to watch for it when I am pulling weeds around the flower beds. It pops up everywhere! So I have learned to be on the look out!
