1-U7XMap-C2zPfnEI2n0ynMA.pngIFX Expo is the largest financial Business to Business (B2B) Expo in the world of Forex (FX). It’s taken place in various cities from all over the world and has been the go to Expo for these types of individuals since 2012. It’s the ultimate meeting point for both local and international brokerages and software/service providers. This year the event oriented towards the Asian markets and took place in Hong Kong, from January the 23rd through to the 25th. The Asian market is a very desirable target for the Genesis Vision platform, that’s why we haven’t missed the chance to participate in IFX Expo this year and jumped at the chance to have Dmitry lead our presentation to the hundreds of attendees.

Brokers crave to get crypto liquidity and integration, or at least some valuable information about this constantly changing world with more than half of the panel and workshop discussion focussing predominantly on cryptocurrencies, blockchain projects, and ICOs generally.

1-kGzxxImChu6RkuZ4NlCgcg.jpegDmitry Nazarov, CTO of Genesis Visionwaswas invited as an expert to the panel discussion “ICOs in Asia: New Era or the Beginning of the End.” Eight experts from different companies all shared their personal experience and visions on the current state of the ICO process from the perspective of legal, marketing, and technology. Best practices in this field are continuously evolving, that’s why it’s good to be updated on the current state regularly. It’s important for both companies, planning to launch successful ICO and investors, choosing the right project to contribute in.

Chinese ICO regulation was one of the hottest topics in this discussion. It was great to hear, that despite all existing and upcoming legal difficulties a lot of companies are open-minded and still trying to find a way to set everything up properly. Overall, the industry is far from being crushed by recent announcements

However, IFX Expo is firstly an expo, not a blockchain conference; this means that the main action happens not in speaker halls or on big projected screens, but in the actual expo area between the booths, where companies discuss their products and ways of potential cooperation. For Genesis Vision, it was a great opportunity to meet Chinese and international Brokers and exchanges. Many of them have already heard about our decentralized trust management platform, but it’s easier and much more efficient to discuss everything and answer all questions live.

1-mjAeC9KO732OHldVguMPIA.jpegApart from being interested in the functionality of decentralized percentage allocation money management (PAMM — that’s what these money management systems are called, speaking in terms of the current FX industry), from the feedback we received it’s further confirmed to us at Genesis Vision that the brokers can clearly see the integration with Genesis Vision as their ticket to the cryptocurrency world and how these technologies will push them further and further into the ever changing world of Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies. Since currently, this is the main goal for many of them, we felt a huge interest in the project from right across the spectrum.

Of course, big regulated brokers remain conservative and are aware of technical and legal issues with such innovative integrations, since this is a quite unique experience. However, even they are looking forward to the alpha version release, to be able to get something “tangible” and see how it works on their trading platforms at least in “test mode”. Since Genesis Vision first version release is nearly upon us, we’ll continue negotiations with all the companies we met during the expo. Especially, the local Chinese brokers, who are difficult to reach in other circumstances.

On the B2B level events of such format are extremely efficient, allowing companies to spread the word about their products and to make new contacts, leading to mutually beneficial cooperation. We plan to utilize such events in full force in the near future especially during the run up to the Platform release. Setting up a booth and visualizing our corporate brand at B2B Expos in which we feel Genesis Vision has a target market is a great (and more so, imperative) way to extend our network and move us all onwards and upwards as we travel down the Roadmap of our initial intentions.
