The "8 Mile" soundtrack continued Eminem's reign as rap's most bankable star and is remembered as a defining moment in his career. Em did not disappoint, when the movie first came out it was critically acclaimed and a box office smash!!!!!!!!!!! definitely one of the hottest movies out at that time cuz back in '02 Eminem was the biggest rap star in the planet just got off releasing his classic album "The Eminem Show" and when he announced that he's coming out with a film shit got real from there. i remember when "Lose Yourself" hit the streets MTV played it NON STOP!!!!!!!!! it was fuckin' BIG the soundtrack also features the Shady/Aftermath's newest recruit 50 Cent and features guest appearances from Xzibit, Jay-Z, Nas, Rakim, GangStarr, Obie Trice, D12 and more. in my opinion this is one of the best hip hop movie soundtracks of all time it the tracks definitely fit well along with the movie i enjoyed it alot. if you're a fan of Eminem this one's for you to check out. what's y'all thoughts on this album???!!!... #8mile #midwesthiphop #detroitMI #eminem #slimshady #aftermath #loseyourself #detroit #D12 #soundtrack #hoodmovie #universalpictures #classic #legendary #90shiphop #realhiphoponly #fuckmumblerap #2002
