The Lord of the Rings is centred on Sauron’s Control Ring if you’ve read or viewed it. Its purpose of this golden ring was to control all rulers of the races of Dwarves, Elves, & Men who’d already received potent magic rings as presents. Following a significant conflict with Sauron’s former employer, Morgoth, the One Ring, also known as Sauron’s ring, was supposed to unite the people of Middle-earth.
