I think that nobody honestly believes that Bitcoin Cash will really become something. Many people would like to make extra money on it since it's price is high, but not more. Kind of like Ethereum Classic, there was a reason for it, but only to make money on it, not more :))

I'd have to disagree. The news of the event is known, but the outcome of the event is still very uncertain. The mass majority of people believe that Bitcoin cash will be nothing compared to btc and so the market has barely moved. If Bitcoin cash can find a way to gain support from some large users and miners, it could send a shock through the btc market.

there is higher fees and longer waiting time is because of higher number of transactions. Blocks are not too big at all, and in fact the capacity of transactions per block is kept from increasing (which bigger blocks would allow, but Core developers don't want to allow this, which is why we have scaling issue in the first place). As there are more people transacting, and capacity is fixed, it creates a BACKLOG, which is why fees go higher (if you chose to do so, this is not forced onto anyone) and if you don't want to pay higher fee, then you will need to wait in queue, which is why there is longer waiting times. That being said, don't worry about the hype.

Hey, What's up Trevon! I am here waiting to see what happens with this Fork. We will see what exactly takes place. I just went ahead and diversified my funds across multiple cryptocurrencies to make sure that I am not hit too hard. Of course, most of the crytpos follow Bitcoin. I guess we will see.
Thank you for sharing your experience with hard forks (Z Classic). I appreciate that you have that experience so we have an idea as to what to look forward to. I am hoping that Bitcoin explodes higher though. And other currencies follow suit. $3,000 BTC would be awesome to see...of course $5,000 would be alot better.
A breakout is what I am hoping for. I like LTC as one of my favorites to move higher. We will see.

This whole Bitcoin Fork thing has taught me a valuable lesson. Most people I have talked to in different investment forums have all told me that Bitcoin was going to crash hard and be selling for about $500 to $600 the day before the fork. Now that they've been proven wrong instead of saying "oops I was wrong" they say "what the heck is wrong with the world I'm right and my predictions are right but somehow things aren't going the way I expected them to." Meanwhile some of us pulled out at like $2100 expecting a crash and to be able to short and get back in and now we're looking at $2,900 and $400 for the Bitcoin cash....... wow did we ever get screwed. Never take anyone else's advice about anything.
